Jayanagar is a residential area of Bangalore. It is located in South Bangalore. Jayanagar is one of the first planned residential areas in India after independence and is believed to be one of the largest planned residential areas in Asia. BMTC has built its first Traffic Transit Management Centre at Jayanagar 4th Block,an important bus stop of Bangalore.
